Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026. This policy explains what personal data we process when you visit openwater.hr, contact us or book one of our activities, and what rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted on servers located in the European Union. When you visit the site, the web server automatically records access data (IP address, date and time, requested page, browser type). We use this data solely to operate the website securely and reliably (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR); it is deleted automatically after a short period and is not merged with other data.

3. Cookies

We use only technically necessary cookies: a cookie that remembers your language choice (EN/DE/FR) for about one year. We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, which is why this site shows no cookie banner.

4. Contact form and e-mail

If you contact us via the contact form or by e-mail, we process the data you provide (name, e-mail address, message) to answer your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). We keep this correspondence only as long as needed to handle your request and any follow-up questions, unless statutory retention periods apply.

5. Booking system

Bookings and payments are handled through the external booking system nostress4u (book.nostress4u.net). When you book, the data required for the contract (name, contact details, participant and payment information) is processed there on our behalf and transmitted to us for carrying out the activity (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). 6. Photos and videos

During our activities our team occasionally takes photos and videos, which we are happy to share with you as a memory. We only publish images on which guests are identifiable (e.g. on this website or social media) with your prior consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You may withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future — just send us a short message.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR). Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. To exercise your rights, contact info@openwater.hr. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in Croatia: Agencija za zaštitu osobnih podataka (AZOP), azop.hr.
